Mode of Selection

  1. Shortlisting of candidates: Based on NEET-PG entrance marks/percentile. The percentile will be converted into “calculated NEET PG marks” on a scale of 200 (percentile × 2, or equivalent conversion described in the notice). Candidates are shortlisted in order of calculated NEET PG marks (separate lists for male & female).

  2. Interview (viva-voce): Shortlisted candidates called for viva-voce / interview (maximum 50 marks). Candidates must secure minimum 50% marks in the viva to be forwarded to medical examination. NCC certificate holders may be given weightage in viva.

  3. Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the interview will undergo Special Medical Board (SMB) evaluation for fitness. Candidates declared ‘UNFIT’ by SMB may apply to Appeal Medical Board (AMB) or Review Medical Board (RMB) as per rules — final medical fitness as per DGAFMS is decisive. Pregnancy, if detected after qualification at interview or during pre-commissioning medical exam, will render candidate temporarily unfit.

  4. Final merit & commissioning: Merit lists prepared by adding calculated NEET PG marks (max 200) and viva marks (max 50) as explained; candidates declared medically FIT will be issued joining instructions for commissioning against vacancies.
